HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA WINS BRONZE CANNES LION FOR RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT: COSTA MESA, Calif., June 25, 2012 – Hyundai took home a bronze Cannes Lion award on Saturday, June 23, during the 2012 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France for the RE:GENERATION Music Project, featuring the Hyundai Veloster. The project, conducted in partnership with Greenlight Media & Marketing, The Recording Academy® and Hyundai’s agency of record, Innocean Worldwide Americas, won the inaugural award for best use or integration of music in the Branded Content and Entertainment Category. In its first year, there were 800 submissions for the category and just seven named finalists. The selection committee was comprised of 16 judges from 10 countries.

HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA ANNOUNCES 2013 VELOSTER PRICING: COSTA MESA, Calif., June 6, 2012 – Hyundai Motor America has announced pricing for the 2013MY Hyundai Veloster and Veloster Turbo, with a new 1.6-liter, 201 horsepower, direct-injected twin-scroll turbocharged engine, aggressive bodykit and other unique features. Veloster Turbo’s starting price of $21,950 includes the high-output turbo powertrain, unique body kit, front heated leather sport seats, tuned exhaust, sport-tuned steering, unique 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlight accents and taillights, and a variety of turbo model interior design elements.

HYUNDAI INVITES CONSUMERS TO PETITION FOR FUEL EFFICIENCY MONTH: COSTA MESA, Calif., June 5, 2012 – As Americans hit the road this summer, Hyundai Motor America aims to bring more attention to the environmental and economic benefits of driving more fuel efficiently, with the launch of its initiative to make August “National Fuel Efficiency Month.” Hyundai plans to put a spotlight on fuel economy this summer with consumer tips and compelling content which inspire consumers to embrace more fuel-efficient driving, saving dollars and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
