AJAC Awards with ACCENT, ELANTRA, and VELOSTER all winning their respective segments!

Hyundai Auto Canada is thrilled to announce we scored a hat-trick

These ‘real-world’ tests compare each vehicle in the respective segments back-to-back, on the same roads and under the same driving conditions to ensure an objective evaluation. In other words… there is not a more accurate and relevant vehicle evaluation process conducted anywhere else in North America.
This is the first time Hyundai has taken home 3 of these prestigious awards in one year.
The next step for these category winners is to compete for the overall Canadian Car of the Year Awardwhich will be announced at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto in February, 2012. Why is receiving an AJAC Award so important? Because almost 60% of all Customers who buy a category winner say that the fact the vehicle won an AJAC Award was a major influence on their purchase decision.
These AJAC Awards are something we can all be proud of, and they leave no doubt why Hyundai is the #1 selling passenger car brand in the country.
Each year the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) conducts head-to-head competitive evaluations of all new vehicles that have been introduced into the Canadian marketplace over the past year. This evaluation event, known as Test Fest, rates vehicles on 21 different attributes including performance, handling, braking, interior space & comfort, standard features, ergonomics, appearance, safety, fuel economy, and value.
